Section 24 Behavior

Behavior is one of the most important aspects of teaching. If a child does not behave, then learning can stop or become much more difficult. We tend to notice behavior when it is disruptive and impacts learning. When we can do something to improve behavior, we always should at least try. There are a number of apps that can help you track behavior. This can remind us of how important behavior is, and hopefully, it reminds us to make adjustments as parents and teachers. It can also help us to create a good structure to maintain good behavior and prevent problems later on.

Schedule Apps

Choiceworks Honorable Mention

This is a very good app to make a simple visual schedule.

Class Timetable

You can keep track of all your assignments with this app. It is designed for a high school or college student that has a lot going on.

Happy Kids Timer

This timer helps to get young children to complete everyday tasks. This would also work well with children that have some forms of autism.

Behavior Tracking

Autism Tracker Pro: Track and Analyze ASD

This app helps you keep a schedule and helps you keep track of behaviors. It comes with too many tools to describe in a few sentences.

This app is designed for teachers or administrators to keep track of attendance, grades and other important data about students.

Management and Reinforcement

You get immediate feedback when a student gets a right answer, and it is designed to reinforce the behavior. I love the concept.

Lickety Split

This app helps you set goals and time limits on desirable behaviors. If you want your child to clean his or her room, this app gives you a timer. If a child needs constant structure and time limits this is a good choice.

Monitoring Student Devices

This software allows you to monitor the activity of students on Chromebooks.

ClassHub is software to monitor student’s devices on different platforms.
