Section 24 Behavior

Behavior is one of the most important aspects of teaching. If a child does not behave, then learning can stop or become much more difficult. We tend to notice behavior when it is disruptive and impacts learning. When we can do something to improve behavior, we always should at least try. There are a number of apps that can help you track behavior. This can remind us of how important behavior is, and hopefully, it reminds us to make adjustments as parents and teachers. It can also help us to create a good structure to maintain good behavior and prevent problems later on.

Schedule Apps

Choiceworks Honorable Mention

Management and Reinforcement

PECS Phase III

You get immediate feedback when a student gets a right answer, and it is designed to reinforce the behavior. I love the concept.

Lickety Split

This app helps you set goals and time limits on desirable behaviors. If you want your child to clean his or her room, this app gives you a timer. If a child needs constant structure and time limits this is a good choice.
